Norfork National Fish Hatchery

The Norfork National Fish Hatchery was established in 1957 and covers mitigation in eastern Oklahoma and the White River Basin in Northern Arkansas. The goals of the Norfork NFH are to provide statutory mitigation fish for Eastern Oklahoma and the White River Basin in Northern Arkansas, as well as to provide environmental education. The Norfork NFH offers fishing for the disabled and for those 15 and under in Dry Run Creek. Visiting Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Daily.

 Directions

Norfork National Fish Hatchery is located below Norfork Dam and Reservoir approximately eleven miles southeast of Mountain Home in Baxter County, Arkansas. The hatchery entrance is on State Highway 177 approximately two miles south of its intersection with State Highway 5. There are several access routes. From Mountain Home, take Highway 5 south to Salesville, then Highway 177 north to the hatchery.
