Forest flanks the shores of Bull Shoals Lake in northwestern Arkansas sheltering serious fishermen in shimmering coves and clear waters popular with boaters, sailers and houseboaters.
The North Bighorns are home to 193 miles of groomed trails and 22 miles of ungroomed. For those who love a purely unmarked backcountry experience, Highway 14 and 14 A also run along meadow after untouched meadow. Elevations run from 7,000 to 10,000 feet and snow-depths from 1 to 10 feet.
