
The Museum of Black Arkansans and Performing Arts—or EMOBA as it's more commonly known—has exhibits on prominent Black Arkansans and the African-American experience. It showcases the contributions of past generations of Black Arkansans and keeps alive the heritage to promote pride and unity in all communities throughout Arkansas. The museum, which is housed in the historic First Baptist Church building at 12th & Louisiana also serves as a performing arts center for African Americans. Guided tours available; gift shop; open February-September; call for hours of operation and exhibit schedule. There is a small admission fee.
