Take a ride from Garrison Avenue to the National Cemetery on a 1926 Birney electric streetcar that is listed on the National Register; also on display are railroad and transportation memorabilia.
A mural adorns the outside west wall of the Trolley Museum and depicts the era of trolleys in Fort Smith, beginning in 1883 with mule-drawn wagons. The mid-1890s brought electric open trolley cars which were used in many cities when weather permitted. Cars #205 and #224 in Fort Smith operated until 1933 when service ended.
