A bit of Elizabethan England can be found in Odessa at the Globe Theatre of the Great Southwest. Modeled after Shakespeare’s original Globe, this unique theatre offers something for everyone. Broadway musicals, country and gospel revues, comedy acts, and of course, Shakespeare plays all can be found at the Globe.

Located within the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Headquarters at Midland International Airport, the American Airpower Heritage Museum is recognized for its collection of authentic World War II artifacts, memorabilia and the world's largest collection of original aviation nose art. The Permian Basin Vietnam Memorial, located just a few blocks from the CAF, is a beautiful reminder of another brave group of individuals who fought for our freedoms.

Stonehenge Odessa is an amazing replica of the original Stonehenge in Wiltshire, England. Located on the University of Texas of the Permian Basin campus, Odessa’s replica measures 70 percent of the originals vertical dimensions and is exact in horizontal size. Truly a must see for visitors.

And don’t forget about the world’s largest jackrabbit! Jack Ben Rabbit stands 8 feet tall and has been delighting Odessa residents and visitors since 1962. He is Odessa’s most popular photo opportunity!
