The Womble Trail, located a few miles south of the Ouachita Trail, follows portions of the Ouachita River. It features forested mountains and a variety of wildlife. Parking is available at many sites, such as Rocky Shoals and Fulton Branch Recreational Areas. Camping is open, but only at a distance of at least 200 feet from the trail and from water sources. This is a beautiful hiking trail which receives very little use by hikers; however, sections have become very popular with mountain bikers.
